Betty's tearooms

Yes, another cafe review! This is another small chain of tearooms, this time in Yorkshire.

Bettys are a Yorkshire institution, combining the Swiss heritage of the founder with Yorkshire traditions. I’ve been to several branches and it has always been a special treat.

My most recent visit was to the original branch in Harrogate town centre, where people were queuing outside to get in (this is normal). But there is also a shop there, so if the weather is good, you can buy provisions for a picnic and go to the Valley Gardens nearby.

If you are nowhere near Yorkshire, quite a few products are available online at bettys.co.uk. Just one more reason to visit the wonderful Yorkshire!
